Then you will find in the vacancy Projectmanager Engineering the role in which you can use your broad expertise, out of the frameweork of a high level engineering consulting environment in close cooperation with the wider contracting firm, to further develop the company's international position in pre-feasibility, FEED and basic engineering phases of extensive projects.

As Projectmanager Engineering you are primairy responsible for the preparation and managing of complex engineering activities for D&C projects, in which mostly external engineering consultancy firms will be involved. This entails amongst other the (having) executing of pre-feasibility and FEED-studies to support clients at an erly stage of projects, as well as the (having) developing of (alternative) desing solutions for tenders of Design & Construct contracts. Although the focus of this role is the consulting and study phases of projects, the Projectmanager Engineering will also give support to projects in the realisation phases.

The Projectmanager Engineering is capable in leading the design and engineering process of a project, and acts as a natural partner for the commercial organisation in the relation with the external client. He/she will also be a coach for less experienced colleagues and will maintain a wide network of external contacts. Your tasks include:

• Supporting the global Business Development in pre-tender and tender phases of extensive harbour, offshore and land reclamation projects.
• Consulting of and presenting to international clients on feasibility of complex projects.
• Directing FEED and pre-feasibiltiy studies.
• Selecting and managing external engineering consulting parties, etc.
• Managing multidisciplinairy projectteams, existing of internal and external engineers.
• Maintaining adequate communication with internal and external project involved parties.

For the vacancy Projectmanager Hydraulic Engineering you have a MSc. degree (Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Physical Geography, etc.) and a minimum of 6 years experience as Projectmanager of multidisciplinairy projects (Port development, Harbours, Offshore, Dredging, Land reclamation). You recognize yourself in the following:

• Extensive experience in managing engineering consulting projects in hydraulic engineering.
• Capable to work independently as well as operate convincingly in teams.
• Good commercial insight for complex tender processes.
• Excellent communicative skills.
• Good English, speaking and written.
• Willingness to work internationally for longer periods of time (although the focus of the activities are office based in the Netherlands).
