As outfitting coordinator you will have a coordinating role between the many internal and external parties involved in the outfitting process of offshore newbuildings. Schedules and activities of various parties should be formed together. This means that a large part of the day you are actually present on board the new projects, and serve as a guide for overall matters and practical problems during outfitting and construction

Your responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate and provide support during outfitting of new build vessels
• Establish and revise various (main / detail ) planning, work order, guidelines and instructions
• Ensure the proper implementation of the (pre-) outfit work, including installation of foundations, ventilation, ducts, pipes and wiring by subcontractors and installation department
• Maintain internal and external contacts required for the delivery of a fully tested, inspected and accepted ship
• Participate is sea trials and client/classification societies acceptance tests

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or Shipbuilding
• + 5 years exp. in the construction and outfitting of vessels/ ships
• Familiar with maritime classification society rules
• Willing to relocate to Holland
• Good command of the English language
• Option of permanent contract
