Project Engineer – Production Engineering

You will act as a key support to the Project Leader and ensure that all engineering information is complete, aligned, and ready for production. You will act as the bridge between Engineering and Production, translating design into a fully integrated and buildable production package.

You will:

• Translate engineering into clear, complete, and buildable production documentation
• Support the Project Leader in coordinating engineering and production-related activities
• Take ownership of the engineering coordination within the production phase
• Ensure the complete and correct delivery of engineering documentation packages to production
• Review and guide drafting activities, ensuring high-quality construction and production drawings
• Verify that all documentation is aligned, integrated, and ready for production
• Act as the interface between engineering disciplines, ensuring consistency across structure, outfitting, and exterior
• Coordinate technical input from suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify and resolve technical inconsistencies or clashes before production

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Minimum 6 years of experience in an engineering-focused role
• Strong engineering background, preferably from a design or engineering office (not a pure shipyard/production profile)
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, 3DEXPERIENCE, or Rhino
• Strong understanding of construction and production drawings
• Experience with weight calculations, other Naval Architecture-related calculations or simulations is considered a strong plus
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage complex technical documentation flows
• Strong communication skills and ability to support and guide stakeholders
