Our client is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their engineering department in Zaandam within the yacht building sector. In this role you will design and engineer integrated electrical systems for high-end superyachts, contributing to complex projects from system design to implementation. You will play a key role in developing electrical installations, cable lists, system documentation and integrated onboard systems for some of the most advanced yachts in the world.

Aufgaben

  • Designing and engineering integrated electrical systems for superyachts

  • Creating electrical drawings for main and sub-distribution panels

  • Developing drawings for power and control cable systems onboard

  • Preparing complete system outputs, including cable lists and technical documentation

  • Technically preparing projects and ensuring documentation is ready for implementation

  • Supporting projects during implementation and aftercare phases

Anforderungen

  • Completed HBO Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience designing electrical systems within the maritime sector
  • Experience with engineering tools such as EPLAN, ProPanel / Pro-built and AutoCAD
  • Experience developing cable lists and system documentation
  • Knowledge of multiple onboard systems (panel-only experience is not sufficient)
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive approach to engineering challenges
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
