We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Coordinator to join a high-profile superyacht refit project in La Ciotat, France, involving the integration of modern electrical power systems within a complex, sustainability-driven rebuild. This is a hands-on coordination role for an experienced electrical engineer who can operate independently and act as the main electrical point of contact within the project team.

Aufgaben

  • Act as the electrical system integrator, ensuring end-to-end integration of power distribution, automation, navigation & communication, and electrical installation including third-party systems
  • Review, challenge, and align subcontractor engineering to ensure technical quality and system-level integration
  • Ensure coherent integration of power generation, BESS, DC grid, and onboard electrical systems
  • Manage interfaces, responsibilities, and technical ownership between subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, HSE, contractual, and project requirements
  • Track engineering progress, identify risks early, and resolve technical and interface issues
  • Support engineering planning and production teams during installation and outfitting
  • Proactively raise technical and execution issues and maintain effective communication with all parties

Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, ideally Master’s in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong background in electrical power engineering
  • Maritime experience required (yacht, shipyard, offshore, or complex marine projects)
  • Experience with electrical system integration in newbuild, refit, or conversion projects
  • Typically 3–5 years’ experience, with exposure to at least one full project lifecycle
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable coordinating multiple parties and disciplines
  • Willingness to follow a hybrid  - freelance work setup
