For a renowned shipbuilder in the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Functional Application Specialist. Aufgaben

As Functional Application Specialist (Cadmatic Expert) you will support the engineering teams in their use of the Cadmatic Hull platform across the entire product lifecycle, improving efficiency and project performance.

Your tasks will include:

  • Understanding engineering needs and translating them into technical requirements for the software
  • Working together with colleagues and other teams to solve software-related issues
  • Creating and improving features and workflows within the application
  • Staying in contact with software suppliers and knowledge partners
  • Making sure Cadmatic Hull works smoothly with other software tools
  • Managing user accounts and access rights
  • Setting up project environments in Cadmatic Hull for new projects
  • Organizing and maintaining technical data like catalogs, libraries, and specifications
  • Coordinating and giving training sessions on how to use Cadmatic Hull
  • Supporting users with questions and issues related to Cadmatic and PLM/CAD tools
  • Writing clear user guides, training materials, and documentation


Anforderungen

As Functional Application Specialist (Cadmatic Expert), you'll need:

  • MSc or BSc (or equivalent) in engineering, preferably in Shipbuilding
  • Proficiency in Cadmatic platform, specifically Cadmatic Hull
  • Understanding of PLM principles and experience in functional application management is preferred
  • Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to work from both of our client's offices
  • Strong references and clean background check required due to project nature
  • EU citizen, due to the military nature of our client's projects.

  • Competitive salary range from € 4.000 to € 6.000 gross p/m, depending on your experience

  • Assistance with relocation, housing advice, and general support

  • Possibility to benefit from the 30% tax ruling for the first five years
