Junior Naval Architect - FPSO

About the Role

• Contribute to the full engineering lifecycle of FPSO projects, from concept and basic design to detailed design and operational support

• Perform hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, and structural analyses in line with project requirements

• Ensure compliance with client specifications and classification society standards

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team

• Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders, including clients, site teams, certifying bodies, and subcontractors

• Provide timely responses to technical queries throughout the project lifecycle

• Be open to occasional travel to shipyards or international project locations as needed

We’re seeking someone with a solid analytical foundation and a proactive mindset—someone who’s eager to grow, take ownership of their work, and contribute to high-impact projects. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering

• 1–5 years of relevant industry experience in offshore or marine engineering

• Knowledge or hands-on experience in hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, finite element, and fatigue analyses

• Familiarity with programming tools such as VBA, MATLAB, or Python

• A strong grasp of international design codes and Class regulations

• The ability to manage your own workload and work independently

• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
