Offshore EngineeringWe are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer, who can make concepts and designs for offshore equipment and manage budget, planning and projects. The main focus is on engineering, where you would spend about 70 % of your time. Contact with clients is also an important part of the job because the projects are multidiscipline, so you would cooperate with other departments, vessel design and operational engineering, as well.

Aufgaben
- Meet with clients and make estimations, budgets and planning;
- Lead a multidiscipline team of engineers and designers during the project;
- Make all type of calculations such as hand-, Excel- and FEM calculations;
- Make (detailed) design models with CAD software such as Autocad and Solid Edge;
- Discuss progress with clients and department manager.
Anforderungen
- European citizenship;
- Bachelor or Master level in Mechanical Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience within heavy equipment design and concepts;
- Experience with FEM and design software, preferably Ansys and Solid Edge;
- Experience with strength calculations, hand calculations, mechanics;
- Experience with complex heavy equipment projects;
- Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably Dutch as well.
