Where coordination creates clarity. You’ll lead and coordinate ILS activities across high-technology defense and maritime programs, ensuring that complex systems remain operational, maintainable and mission-ready throughout their lifecycle. You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams in developing, implementing, and managing logistics strategies that support new equipment acquisitions and sustainment programs for critical defense assets. As part of an experienced engineering and logistics team, you’ll bring structure, insight, and leadership to programs that directly support the Ministry of Defense and its long-term materiel readiness objectives.

Aufgaben

Lead ILS & System Integration Projects

  • Own and deliver the full ILS work package across acquisition, integration, and in-service phases.

  • Evaluate supplier proposals and verify compliance with ILS requirements, availability targets, and long-term sustainment impact.

  • Oversee maintenance strategy development using FMECA, LORA, RCM and supportability engineering methods.

  • Prepare and validate PIDs, PvEs, ILS Requirements Specifications, and contribution to reviews (PDR/CDR)

Develop & Implement Logistics & Supportability Solutions

  • Define and integrate all ILS elements: maintenance planning, documentation, spares, tools, training, and support equipment.

  • Ensure supplier and internal deliverables meet ASD S-Series standards (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, S4000P).

  • Manage configuration and technical data structures in SAP PM or equivalent EAM/CM tools.

  • Validate logistic data sets (BOMs, LSAR, provisioning, asset registration) and ensure lifecycle supportability.

Team Leadership & Multi-Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead and develop a team of ILS engineers, analysts, technical authors, and provisioning specialists.

  • Coordinate with engineering, programme management, OEMs, and defence/naval authorities.

  • Represent ILS in customer reviews, verification events, provisioning conferences, and training sessions.

  • Ensure ILS deliverables meet quality, schedule, and contractual milestones, managing risks and change control.

Anforderungen

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).

  • At least 5 years of experience in system logistics, defense engineering, or complex technical project environments.

  • Proven expertise in ILS, materiel logistics, or system sustainment programs.

  • Familiarity with Ministry of Defense frameworks, (European) regulations, and legal standards.

  • Experience preparing requirements documentation and contributing to equipment acquisition programs.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and related ERP/maintenance systems.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Background in defense logistics or naval systems management.

  • Understanding of methodologies such as FMECA, LORA, LSA, and RCM.

  • Experience managing and guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Konditionen

  • Salary range: €4,500 – €7,500 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
