As a Project Engineer Construction you will be driving force behind the realisation of the casco (hull) design of our superyachts. You will be responsible for the complete engineering scope within the construction discipline and ensuring that all components come together seamlessly, from the initial sketches to the perfect finish. Safeguards quality, planning, and budget, ensuring the highest standards are met.

Aufgaben

In this dynamic role, you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership to guide a team of engineers and deliver innovative solutions for complex challenges on the exterior and casco. As the key link between the client, shipyard, and all stakeholders, you'll ensure seamless collaboration and outstanding results. You’ll report to the Lead Engineer and work closely with the Project Manager Engineering (PME).

Duties:

  • Lead the engineering process for the entire superyacht hull (casco), ensuring seamless integration from concept to completion.
  • Safeguard quality, planning, and budget across the full engineering scope.
  • Manage and coach a team of engineers, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
  • Coordinate planning and work distribution, ensuring efficient information flow.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client, shipyard, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess manufacturability and support project scope definition.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer, Project Manager Engineering (PME), subcontractors, and production teams.
  • Align all stakeholders on project objectives and proactively resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for excellence and attention to detail.

Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or 5+ years as a Senior Engineer in shipbuilding or yacht construction.
  • Proven experience in hull construction engineering and casco design within the shipbuilding industry.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and 3d modelling tools. Preferably Autocad, Cadmatic and NX knowledge.
  • Knowledge from and experience with structural design, hull engineering, exterior engineering, moving equipment and equipment integration.
  • Knowledge from FEM and stress analysis and weight and budgeting.
  • Deep technical insight into yacht building and production, and construction processes.
  • You’re analytical by nature and have a high standard when it comes to delivering quality and results.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for excellence and attention to detail.

Konditionen

  • An attractive monthly salary of €4.500 – €5.500, based on your experience
  • Application for the 30% ruling (expat tax advantage)
