Aufgaben

As a Senior Structural Analyst, you will be an essential part of the Naval & Structural group, contributing your expertise across both basic and detailed engineering phases. You will be responsible for creating structural designs and executing complex analyses related to strength, stiffness, vibrations, and maintainability, always aligning with regulatory standards and client demands. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in R&D and process improvement initiatives.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Delivering high-quality engineering work within agreed deadlines and budgets.
  • Defining and improving internal standards and methodologies.
  • Supporting design validation, reviews, and external engineering packages.
  • Ensuring compliance with client specifications and classification society requirements.
  • Integrating vendor and subcontractor data into the design and conducting technical evaluations.
  • Collaborating with various departments, clients, and stakeholders to achieve design integration.

Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with an MBO Niveau 4 degree and substantial experience in ship structures are also considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Structural Analyst in shipbuilding or offshore.
  • Knowledge of classification rules and tools such as DNV-GL Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, or BV MARS2000.
  • Skilled in FEM tools like ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP, and 3D CAD systems such as NUPAS, 3DX, or Catia.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills; collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent references, and willingness to undergo security screening.
  • Must be a permanent EU citizen.

Konditionen

  • An attractive monthly salary of €4.000 – €6.000, based on your experience
  • Assistance with your relocation, i.e. registration, legal and fiscal matters, and housing advice
  • 30% tax ruling for the first five years (if applicable).
  • At least 25 days of paid holidays, plus 13 ADV additional paid holidays.
  • Holiday allowance paid
  • Compensation for commuting costs depending on your preferred means of transportation - own car / public transport / bike
  • Language course compensation up to €500.- so that you have a good kickstart
