After Sales Technician - Warranty Management

As a Technician in After Sales and Warranty Management, you’ll take responsibility for ensuring that commissioned vessels and systems continue to perform reliably after delivery. You will analyze warranty claims, coordinate service work, and act as the vital link between shipowners, suppliers, and internal departments. Your insight and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of future maritime projects and the green transformation.

Tasks

  • Independently handle warranty claims, including analysis, troubleshooting, and cost calculations.

  • Organize and coordinate materials, personnel, and scheduling for warranty assignments (internal and external).

  • Monitor and document work progress, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective measures.

  • Manage the settlement of warranty services in close cooperation with project and department management.

  • Serve as a technical interface between shipowners, suppliers, and internal departments.

  • Contribute to evaluating subcontractor performance.

  • Analyze operational vessel data to identify improvements.

  • Support rework activities in piping, steel, electrics, or tanks (depending on specialization).




Job requirements

  • Certified technician or equivalent qualification.

  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in shipbuilding or a related technical industry.

  • Excellent English skills, spoken and written.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • High level of commitment, flexibility, and resilience.

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
