Electrical Project Engineer – Yacht Systems

Designing and integrating complete electrical systems tailored to each superyacht.

Preparing detailed cable lists and connection diagrams using EPLAN.

Developing and maintaining technical documentation such as 2D CAD drawings, system schematics, and bills of materials.

Collaborating with internal teams across design, engineering, and production to ensure optimal system integration.

Planning and executing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).

Ensuring all systems comply with marine electrical standards and safety regulations (DNV, Lloyd’s, SOLAS).

Troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues, including I/O configuration, serial communication, data protocols, and interface compatibility.

You hold a bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a comparable field.

You bring at least 2–3 years of experience in electrical system integration, ideally gained in shipbuilding, yachtbuilding, offshore, or similar industries.

You have solid knowledge of electrical distribution systems, automation, lighting control, and system design, including architecture and control logic.

You’re confident working with tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and PLM Teamcenter.

Your understanding of marine AC and DC power systems is strong, and you’re well-versed in maritime electrical regulations and safety standards.

You approach problems analytically and systematically, with a results-focused mindset and strong attention to detail.

You communicate clearly, collaborate easily with cross-functional teams, and can liaise with suppliers and stakeholders professionally.

You are proactive, structured, and thrive in a dynamic project-driven environment.

You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
