Develop, implement, and optimise ILS processes across acquisition, system integration, and in-service support phases.
Perform R(M)A studies including FMECA, LORA, supportability analysis, and maintenance task development.
Prepare and update maintenance concepts, LSA records, configuration baselines, and technical logistics documentation (S1000D/S2000M/S3000L aware).
Analyse system behaviour, failure modes, spares demand and lifecycle cost drivers to support system design and operational readiness.
Structure, validate, and maintain technical data in maintenance management or ERP systems (SAP/IDEF/Onsite toolsets).
Review OEM documentation and supplier data packages for technical accuracy, completeness, and standard compliance.
Consultancy & Process Development
Advise defence, naval and OEM clients on ILS strategy, methodology, S-Series adoption, and compliance with NATO/DEfSTAN/ASD standards.
Develop ILS plans, acquisition support documentation (PvE, PID inputs, supportability requirements), and logistics publications.
Shape and improve internal processes for maintenance engineering, configuration control, data modelling and digital ILS tooling.
Work closely with engineering, logistics, asset management and system integration teams to ensure supportability is embedded from design to delivery.
Support clients in tender evaluations by reviewing logistical feasibility, RAMT implications, sustainment costs and lifecycle risk.
Job Requirements
HBO or WO degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical, maintenance, or logistics support environment.
Knowledge of or experience with:
Reliability and maintenance analyses (RCM, FMECA, LORA, LSA).
Maintenance and configuration management systems.
ILS methodologies and documentation standards. (S-Series)
Maintenance management systems (SAP preferred).
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Meticulous, analytical and structured, able to translate technical data into practical support strategies.
Strong communication and coordination skills; capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience as an ILS Engineer or ILS Officer, ideally within defense or maritime programs.
Familiarity with Prince2 methodology and defense acquisition frameworks.
Knowledge of maritime systems, naval installations, or materiel logistics.
Salary range: €3,500 – €6,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
