As Mechanical Equipment Engineer you are responsible for providing support related to static equipment, utilities equipment, lifting and handling equipment, as well as general mechanical equipment, ensuring it is functional and accounted for within a design, as well as compliant with internal and external requirements.

Tasks

  • Identify innovative methods to carry out assigned tasks
  • Ensure all required mechanical equipment is functional and compliant with the standards
  • Responsible for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package
  • Prioritize activities and interface with other department coordinators

Job requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas Engineering, preferably with FPSO projects
  • Expertise in mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, pumps etc.)    
  • Expertise in handling components (winches, cranes, hoists etc.)   
  • Knowledge in package engineering functions, vendor documents, and select FATs
  • Good general knowledge of piping, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines    
  • Good organization and coordination skills, as dealing with complex interfaces and other disciplines and vendors is necessary    
  • Proactive and autonomous
