Tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all E&A engineering activities throughout the shipbuilding lifecycle. You will serve as a crucial liaison between internal disciplines and external partners, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and technical excellence.
Key Tasks:
- Take full responsibility for the E&A dossier across assigned shipbuilding projects.
- Coordinate information flow between multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Advise the Project Manager on all matters concerning electrical and automation systems.
- Ensure adherence to technical regulations and supplier interface requirements.
- Organize and participate in integration reviews and system testing (e.g., HIL, HAT, SAT).
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical & automation engineering for complex shipbuilding or offshore projects.
- Proficient in coordinating multi-disciplinary technical projects.
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Skilled in addressing technical challenges and collaborating across disciplines to deliver effective solutions.
- Willingness to travel internationally to shipyards.
