In your role of Project Coordinator (E&A) you are involved with multiple departments, subcontractors and external partners. Your involvement will start at the very beginning (definition, procurement, engineering fases) and will continue until the very end (verification, acceptance tests of systems) to ensure the correct integration of the various systems in large and complex vessels.
As Project Coordinator (E&A) you will:
- Direct and manage the packages of E&A systems and ensure that everything is performed and completed according to schedule, quality, and costs.
- Work in line with requirements and specifications as imposed by customer and client.
- Be involved in project reviews and milestones. You will also be present during tests, trials, and are willing to travel abroad with your team when needed.
- Ensure the successful integration of the various systems by carefully planning, executing and synchronizing projects activities for your project team.
- Ensure the timely contribution of vendors and subcontractors for the packages of systems.
- Be on top of changes and deviations and communicate them in a timely manner.
- Make sure that PO's and stage payments are release on time.
To be successful in the role of Project Coordinator E&A, you need:
- Academic background in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, etc., combined with 5 years of experience in a PM role in complex projects.
- Previous experience within the maritime industry (shipbuilding or Oil & Gas).
- Experience in working within an international organization in multidisciplinary PM roles.
- Excellent English.
- Flexibility when it comes to working time or locations.
