Tasks

As a Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering Design, you’ll become a key player in an elite design team dedicated to crafting advanced electrical systems for both new builds and refits in the luxury yacht and passenger ship domain.

  • Engineer and coordinate electrical systems for high-spec maritime projects.
  • Define scopes, deliverables, and interface points for system integration.
  • Develop specifications and lead discussions with suppliers and partners.
  • Contribute to construction planning and detailed technical documentation.
  • Support offer calculation and technical cost estimates.
  • Act as the central contact between design, production, and procurement.
  • Collaborate with classification societies and client technical representatives.

 

Job requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (equivalent to Fachhochschule or Universität level).
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally in the yacht or passenger vessel sector, or marine component supply.
  • Deep knowledge of maritime technical standards and norms.
  • Competency in AutoCAD; Cadmatic experience is an asset.
  • Basic German language skills required; willingness to improve is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, precision, and drive for technical excellence.
  • Open to international candidates motivated to integrate into a German-speaking work culture.
