Project Engineer – Production Engineering

As Project Engineer you take a central role in translating yacht design into a fully coordinated and executable production package.
You are not only responsible for developing technical documentation, but for ensuring that all engineering disciplines are aligned, integrated, and ready for production. You act as a key interface between Engineering and Production, safeguarding technical feasibility, planning, and build quality throughout the project.
You work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play a crucial role in preparing complex yacht projects for efficient and high-quality construction.

You will:

• Take ownership of the technical preparation of the production phase within yacht construction projects
• Prepare and coordinate the production engineering package for yacht construction projects
• Translate engineering into clear, complete, and buildable production documentation
• Develop and align technical drawings together with engineering and drafting teams
• Ensure all deliverables are consistent and aligned across disciplines (structural, outfitting, exterior)
• Act as the technical interface between Engineering and Production
• Coordinate and integrate technical input from subcontractors and suppliers
• Verify that all documentation meets technical specifications, standards, and regulations
• Identify and resolve technical issues and clashes before production
• Safeguard feasibility, quality, and planning of the production process

• Bachelor degree in Shipbuilding Engineering or similar, with approx. 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience within yacht building or complex shipbuilding projects
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering integration in a production environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Rhino is an advantage)
• Ability to oversee technical scope and manage interfaces between disciplines
• Analytical, structured, and solution-driven
• Strong communication skills and confident in coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Good command of English, spoken and written
