Project Leader - Mechanical Engineering

We are looking for a Project Leader within shipbuilding production in the Mechanical department. In this role, you will lead technical and production projects during the construction of fully customized luxury superyachts, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the central point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Tasks

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (hull, interior, mechanical)
  • Manage project scope, planning, budget, and risks
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate with stakeholders
  • Oversee work preparation, including reviewing technical drawings and ensuring material availability
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
  • Ensure smooth project execution while maintaining high quality standards

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent), preferably in a technical field
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects in a project-based environment
  • Strong project management, planning, and control skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in shipbuilding or yacht building

Conditions

  • Annual gross salary (€ 55.000 -  € 70.000) based on experience
  • 40 holidays
