Tasks
Overall responsibility for planning, controlling, and executing a major refit project
Coordination of interdisciplinary teams as well as external partners and military stakeholders
Supervision of modernization and conversion work on board
Ensuring compliance with technical and safety-related standards
Monitoring schedules, costs, and quality, including regular reporting
Supporting contract and claim management
Job requirements
Technical degree, e.g. Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Experience in project management, ideally in the maritime sector or in complex refit/retrofit projects
Experience in the defence sector is considered a significant advantage
Good understanding of shipyard processes and technical systems
Strong communication skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style
Good command of English; German language skills are preferred but not mandatory
Willingness to travel within the Lower Saxony region
