Offshore Engineering
Our client is looking for an ambitious Proposal Engineer to strengthen their Proposals Department in the South of Holland. This role offers you the chance to be part of a cutting-edge offshore contractor, supporting bold projects in heavy lift and pipeline installation worldwide. You will contribute to securing exciting and challenging offshore contracts through meticulous preparation and coordination of proposals.

Tasks

As a Proposals Engineer, you play a pivotal role in preparing bids and contracts, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. You ensure all bid documents are properly reviewed, distributed, and submitted on time.

Your tasks include:

  • Reviewing bid documents and preparing preliminary work plans.
  • Coordinating with internal departments and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of required information.
  • Reviewing and evaluating technical qualifications and subcontractor submissions.
  • Preparing the technical sections of proposals and compiling back-up documentation.
  • Supporting the Proposals Manager during negotiations and after submission.
  • Preparing project hand-over files in case of contract award.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or equivalent (localized: Hochschule/Universität, Bachelor oder Master).
  • At least 3 years of experience in offshore installation, preferably in heavy lift and/or pipeline installation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Self-motivated and willing to travel internationally.
