Senior Engineer Structures

As Senior Engineer Structures, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and reviewing structural designs for shipbuilding projects. You will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of structural designs in compliance with requirements, rules, and standards.
• Creating and reviewing structural drawings, technical documents, and calculations.
• Coordinating with various disciplines such as mechanical, systems, and outfitting to ensure design integration.
• Providing technical support during the design, production, and commissioning phases.
• Participating in design reviews and collaborating with external partners, including classification societies.
• Contributing to process improvements and the development of internal standards and tools.
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical expertise with the team.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, within shipbuilding.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software such as Nupas-Cadmatic or Aveva Marine.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, strength calculations, and classification rules.
• Experience with FEM tools is considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be a permanent EU citizen.
