Tasks
- Leading the electrical and automation scope within advanced marine and naval projects
- Managing electrical system architecture for power generation and distribution
- Ensuring correct integration of vessel-wide systems such as alarms, fire detection, and lighting
- Taking responsibility for centralized and decentralized automation and control solutions
- Defining, coordinating, and monitoring interfaces between different technical systems and suppliers
- Acting as the main technical contact for clients, suppliers, classification societies, flag states, and authorities
- Supervising and aligning the activities of electrical subcontractors
- Preparing and supporting commissioning activities, sea trials, and acceptance testing
- Supporting innovation initiatives, special assignments, and R&D-related activities
Job requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Proven track record in electrical and automation engineering within complex marine or naval environments
- Strong capability in integrating multidisciplinary systems and managing technical interfaces
- Comfortable taking full ownership of long-term, technically demanding assignments with minimal supervision
- Project-oriented mindset with a structured and methodical approach to work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and negotiate where required
- Good command of standard engineering and office software; experience with AutoCAD and Teamcenter is a plus
- EU citizenship is mandatory
