ExteriorAs Senior Outfitting Engineer, you will take a central role in preparing and managing outfitting systems on board a high-profile research vessel. Your main mission: make sure the Project Manager can give confident "go" decisions based on your groundwork.
Tasks include:
Develop technical specifications for ship outfitting systems (e.g. doors, insulation, cranes, technical installations).
Select and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Provide engineering documentation and approval workflows.
Oversee outfitting design integration with related disciplines.
Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with classification society and client requirements.
Ensure proper preparation and handover of outfitting packages to production.
Proven experience in ship outfitting engineering.
Strong knowledge of outfitting systems and related specifications.
Hands-on experience in vendor and subcontractor coordination.
Ability to prepare project-critical technical documentation.
Available to work full-time on-site in +Bremerhaven (no remote or hybrid).
Immediate availability is a plus.
EU citizenship is mandatory.
German language skills are an asset but not required.
