Are you a Structural Engineer seeking new challenges in high-end Naval Architecture?
Join our Shipbuilding Team in the Netherlands!

You will collaborate on large-scale projects, engineer naval structures, and ensure compliance with design requirements.

Experience in steel vessels (more than 30 meters), 3D CAD systems, and ship construction is essential.

Must relocate to the Netherlands. EU Citizenship required.

Tasks

  • Develop, evaluate, and implement physical models related to construction, load, and materials.
  • Analyze and interpret drawings for comprehensive understanding.
  • Support in conducting strength calculations beyond the scope of the FEM department.
  • Offer specialized guidance on construction-related issues.
  • Maintain technical accuracy and ensure safety measures are met.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Completed relevant education (shipbuilding) at HBO level.
  • Experience as a Structural Engineer in new construction projects involving superyachts and/or passenger ships (essential).
  • Proficiency in modern 3D CAD and PLM systems (knowledge of NX is advantageous, internal training will be provided).
  • Knowledge in the field of ship construction, LR, REG LY code, SOLAS, FEM, and vibration analyses (on-the-job training available).
  • Creativity and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
