Configuration Management Engineer

We are looking for Configuration Management Engineers to join our client’s teams in Vlissingen or Schiedam. You’ll be part of major naval shipbuilding projects where structure, data integrity, and collaboration are essential. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience.

Taken

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration management plans.
  • Manage documentation structures, product breakdowns, and master data lists.
  • Validate incoming and outgoing technical documentation.
  • Monitor change control processes and ensuring version control.
  • Work with PLM/PDM tools such as 3DX to structure engineering data.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality departments.
  • Support process improvement and standardization efforts.

Functie eisen

  • Experience in configuration management and familiarity with PDM/PLM systems (ideally 3DX).
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, preferably with shipbuilding or maritime experience.
  • Organized, detail-focused, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • EU citizenship (due to the military nature of the projects)
  • Clean security record and professional references
