We are currently seeking a Defence Naval Draughtsman to reinforce the Structures, Plans & Arrangements (SP&A) team within the Engineering Department. In this position, you will further detail and optimize foundation drawings by incorporating all necessary production data required for onsite machining. This includes specifying machining instructions, bolt arrangements, alignment details, and grouting provisions.

You will work closely with mechanical engineers, installation specialists, and external partners to ensure that foundations can be accurately positioned, secured, and supported during installation. As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will develop 3D models and drawings and ensure documentation meets internal quality standards and approval requirements. Job description (Tasks)

  • Create and detail machining drawings for equipment foundations.
  • Enrich foundation drawings with complete production information (machining details, bolt configurations, grouting requirements).
  • Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks or 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA).
  • Coordinate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and approved before release.

Functie eisen

  • Completed secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience preparing production and machining drawings.
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks or 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA).
  • Good understanding of production, machining, and installation processes.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).
  • A positive outcome of a pre-employment security screening is mandatory.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport required in line with defence project regulations.

  • An attractive annual salary of € 52.000 – € 65.000, based on your experience
