Electrical Engineer (Lighting)

In your role of Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire design and integration of lighting systems on board of luxury mega yachts (but also submarines and naval vessels). Your involvement will continue after the delivery phase, by ensuring maintenance and upgrades. In this position, you report to the Project Engineering Manager (Yachts).

As Lighting Engineer, you will:

• Provide the basic and detailed design of lighting systems
• Perform the required calculation to prove the design
• Work in line with class regulation, inspection bodies, and customer's requirements
• Draw specifications for materials and components
• Provide your support during the production, installation and commissioning phases, on site/on board

In your role of Lighting Engineer, you need:

• Relevant degree in a technical discipline, combined with some years of previous experience in the design of large and complex technical installations
• Experience within the maritime industry, specifically in the yacht building sector
• Knowledge of E-plan or AutoCAD 2D
• Experience within the design and programming of home automation systems
• Knowledge of hardware components
• Excellent English skills
• EU Nationality (non EU profiles will not be considered)
