Engineer - Construction

As an Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and construction process of complex yacht hulls. Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you’ll be involved from the early engineering stages to coordination with project partners.

Your tasks will include:

• Creating 3D construction models in Cadmatic Hull during basic and detailed engineering phases.

• Preparing comprehensive 2D construction drawings.

• Applying relevant regulatory standards and norms.

• Coordinating practical design and engineering topics with the project team.

• Aligning with suppliers and the client team on equipment integration and boundary definitions.

• Reviewing technical documents created in-house or outsourced at all stages.

• Providing technical guidance to other engineers within the team.

• Supporting the development of transport and lifting strategies.

• Proposing improvements in standards, methods, workflows, and procedures.

• Completed MBO or HBO education in maritime engineering or mechanical engineering
  (DE equivalent: Berufsschule / Fachhochschule)

• Proven experience in ship or yacht construction.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex engineering issues.

• Flexible and results-oriented with a strong focus on quality.

• Experience with Cadmatic Hull, AutoCAD, and Rhino 3D is a plus.
