Mechanical Design Engineer

3D designing and modelling complete mechanical system layouts for engine rooms and technical spaces and accommodation areas..

Creating clear and detailed production drawings and installation documentation to support Work Preparation and Production.

Integrating mechanical equipment and systems on board, ensuring proper routing, accessibility, maintainability and clash-free installation.

Designing and detailing supports, foundations and mechanical structures required for safe and accurate installation.

Coordinating interfaces with Shipbuilding Engineering, Interior Engineering, suppliers and Production, ensuring technical alignment throughout the project.

Supporting the build process from engineering to execution by implementing updates based on feedback from the yard, suppliers and commissioning teams.

A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar, combined with 3 years of relevant work experience.

Experience with mechanical design within shipbuilding or yacht building.

Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge (preferred), with additional experience in CATIA or NX considered an advantage.

Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
