Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for high-end yacht building? Join our prestigious team and take part in crafting world-class luxury yachts. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a discipline-specific engineering team, ensuring the highest quality in design and execution, and collaborating with top-tier professionals in the field. We are currently seeking Project Engineers for the high-end superyacht industry. Depending on your expertise and the project at hand, your role may vary — for example, you could be working on routing and arrangements, HVAC diagrams, or other key areas within the mechanical engineering scope. You’ll join a highly skilled engineering team and work closely with production, design departments, and classification societies to bring to life world-class vessels in the superyachts range.

  • Lead and manage the engineering scope of your discipline within the project, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely delivery

  • Develop and oversee the final design, technical specifications, and 3D models, ensuring compliance with Class and Flag regulations

  • Act as a key technical expert, delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges

  • Ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination by collaborating with engineers from various specializations

  • Supervise and mentor junior and senior engineers to support professional growth and uphold high engineering standards

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including the Owner's team, to align expectations, resolve issues, and improve yacht manufacturability

  • Monitor and improve engineering processes to promote continuous innovation in luxury yacht design

Functie eisen

• A Bachelor or Master education in Mechanical Engineering, or related study.

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.

• Experienced in managing a team of Engineers

• Relevant software knowledge of 3D Autocad, Teamcenter and Cadmatic

• Good command of the English language (verbal and written).

• Insight into cable and panel planning, systems on board, and weight and budgeting.

• Deep technical insight into yacht building and production and construction processes.

  • Competitive salary based on experience and role

  • 30% tax ruling for the first five years (for positions based in the Netherlands)

  • At least 25 days of paid holiday, plus additional ADV days
