Offshore EngineeringDeliver conceptual and detailed marine systems designs for floating production units (FPSOs, FSOs, Oil & Gas Carriers, Chemical Tankers, Drilling Units, Semi-submersibles, TLPs).
Ensure designs meet high-quality, cost-effective, and safety standards.
Collaborate and coordinate with related disciplines: Naval Architecture, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process, Technical Safety, and Regulatory teams.
Specify, evaluate, and ensure suitability of marine systems equipment while balancing technological innovation and commercial considerations.
Apply classification society rules (ABS, DNV GL, BV, Lloyd’s) and adhere to HSSE policies.
Support review methods including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, HP/LP, and SIF reports.
Occasionally travel to project offices or shipyards worldwide as required.
MSc or BSc degree (or equivalent professional certification) in Marine Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Higher Seafaring College, or General Operational Technology (AOT).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marine Systems Engineering and Design, preferably covering Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
Strong technical knowledge in marine and production systems for floating units in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience with shipyards, shipboard operations, marine equipment vendors, and manufacturers is preferred.
Familiarity with LNG carrier engineering or operations is a plus.
Up-to-date knowledge of marine systems and equipment technology.
Understanding of classification society rules and international HSSE regulations.
