Senior Structural Topside Engineer

Select appropriate engineering methods and procedures while optimizing structural designs in line with project specifications, international codes, and industry standards.

Plan, manage, and complete engineering activities and deliverables within the agreed schedule and budget while ensuring proper system interfaces.

Ensure that all deliverables within the Scope of Work comply with both contractual requirements and internal engineering standards.

Apply lessons learned from previous projects and evaluate the impact of design changes across system and project boundaries.

Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure technical alignment and compliance with contractual and internal requirements.

Take responsibility for technical packages as a Package Engineer, overseeing the design, procurement, and manufacturing of assigned packages.

Lead and guide engineers within the assigned scope of work and support technical decision-making.

Act as Discipline Lead for specific scopes of work when required.

Perform structural design calculations for offshore topside structures such as modules, helidecks, flare towers, and hull integrations.

Develop and verify structural calculations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), in-house software tools, and manual engineering calculations.

Collaborate with structural designers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, procurement, construction teams, and operations to deliver cost-effective and high-quality designs.

Contribute to the engineering of offshore floating production systems, particularly FPSO and FLNG structures.

Support proposal development, pre-FEED studies, and concept development for new offshore technologies and structural solutions.
