Tactical Project Purchaser

What are you going to do as Tactical Project Purchaser?

• Monitoring and tracking cost trends for key commodities.
• Ensuring supplier contracts are comprehensive and accurate, accounting for all cost variables.
• Conducting research, qualification, and evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors on a project-by-project basis.
• Initiating market research and fostering supplier development to establish and maintain a reliable supply base.
• Driving supplier improvement initiatives based on supplier qualification and evaluation.
• Collaborating in category management, including defining and executing effective category strategies.
• Providing accurate data for budgeting and cost price calculations.
• Developing and maintaining evaluations for quotations and essential performance metrics.
• Managing and coordinating the entire procurement process, from specification to selection, evaluation, contracting, contract management, and post-contract support, following established procedures and project boundaries.
• Creating proposals for standardization, establishing framework contracts, and rigorously monitoring and maintaining them.

What would we like to see in your profile?

• A relevant technical degree, combined with at least 4 years of relevant experience in a technical role.
• A solid experience in procurement, ideally in large and complex projects.
• Negotiation skills, organizational skills, and proactive approach.
• Proficiency in English, ideally also in Dutch.
• EU citizenship (mandatory). NON EU candidates, even if residing in the Netherlands, cannot be considered for the role.
