Tasks

  • Providing guidance and assistance to managers in HR matters aimed at employee retention, including support for career advancement + training initiatives, and the recruitment of new personnel;
  • Formulating and executing HR policies in accordance with German laws, ensuring alignment with existing organizational policies;
  • Guaranteeing that HR activities are carried out in adherence to both national and international labor laws, as well as data protection regulations. Assisting in the relocation of expatriates to Germany;
  • Supervising the onboarding procedure for new employees and ensuring a smooth introduction to the organization;
  • Promoting the adjustment of performance management practices by leadership to recognize and retain talent within the company and actively enabling succession planning;
  • Supervising HR administrative tasks, particularly focusing on the management of temporary staff portfolios, ensuring compliance with German laws and regulations;
  • Managing a precise HR database that accurately reflects current employee information and conditions, facilitating the generation of required reports;
  • Playing a role in enhancing departmental processes, promoting the transfer and retention of knowledge within the team.

Job requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of two years of professional experience with demonstrable track record of dealing with German labor laws and other HR-related regulations;
  • Previous experience within a large corporate setting in the manufacturing sector (construction, shipbuilding) as well as with working in a challenging technical project environment is adventageous;
  • Proficiency in English and German in both written and spoken;
  • Strong professional references are necessary due to a standard pre-employment security screening as part of the recruitment process;
  • Permanent EU citizenship, in conjunction with an EU work visa, is mandatory for our personnel due to the nature of military projects.
