Electrical & InstrumentationOur client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. They are leading providers of innovative floating production and storage solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry. They specialize in the design, construction, leasing, and operation of floating production vessels known as FPSOs, enabling oil and gas production in offshore locations around the world.
The Senior Electrical Engineer, will join the Engineering Department, which provides cost-effective solutions across all business areas, ensuring compliance with international regulations and safety standards while supporting the company's goals and strategy.

Tasks
In your role of Senior Electrical Designer you will join the Engineering tea, focusing on Electrical design for FPSO, Renewable, and SPM projects. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you'll ensure adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
In addition, you:
- Deliver Electrical design for various projects, adhering to technical specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineer to report progress, setbacks, and technical concerns.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and PinDB for engineering tasks.
- Work with 3D models in PDMS, Inventor, Plant3D, and/or Acad3D.
Job requirements
As Senior Electrical Designer, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education with relevant experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering and design within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in computer software for document processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Willingness to travel and undertake activities abroad, including onshore and construction sites.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
