We are looking for a Quality Inspector in North Germany to play a vital role in the completion of one of the latest and largest luxury cruise vessels. This presents an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the largest shipyards in the region. Your primary responsibilities will focus on conducting quality inspections in areas related to Insulation, Steel and Welding.

Tasks

  • Perform thorough quality inspections on various construction projects, with a specific emphasis on Insulation, Steel and Welding.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and rigorous safety protocols during all project phases.
  • Identify and promptly address any defects, deviations, or non-compliance issues, and provide effective recommendations for resolution.
  • Generate comprehensive quality reports that detail findings, recommendations, and progress tracking.
  • Stay updated on evolving industry regulations, standards, and best practices to uphold the highest level of quality control.

Job requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated previous experience in Quality Control in areas related to the interior, cabins, insulation, and floor.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • EU Citizenship or right to work in Germany

Conditions

  •  Competitive Salary;
  •  Net allowance of € 150,- monthly (with a maximum of €3000,- over a period of 12 months, after which this is terminated);   
  •  Pension insurance;
  •  Paid National Holidays (approx. 10 days per year); 
  •  Paid sick leave;
  •  Paid overtime;
  •  Commuting costs: it’s up to a maximum of €50,- per month, with the 'Deutschland-Ticket,' as it is commonly referred to; -
  •  Assistance with your relocation, i.e. registration, legal and fiscal matters, and housing advice.
