We are excited to partner with our client who designs and manufactures Air Conditioning Systems for cruise liners, passenger vessels, and specialized vessels to recruit for a Project Engineer with You will be assigned to and assist complex and challenging vessel projects - new builds and refits. \

Based in North Germany, you will be assigned to and assist complex and challenging vessel projects - new builds and refits

Tasks

  • Responsible for engineering tasks related to intake systems, cabins, and hoods for Galleys.
  • Collaborate closely with the on-site fabrication team and engineering team.
  • Perform calculations and develop concepts for HVAC equipment.
  • Devise strategies for equipment installation and maintain close contact with the project owner and suppliers.
  • Opportunity for a long-term contract in upcoming projects.

Job requirements

  • Engineering degree in mechanical or equivalent field.
  • Experience in shipbuilding, specifically in designing cabin intake hoods.
  • Experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) from any field.
  • Preferred location: Wismar, with alternative options in Rostock or Hamburg.
  • Flexibility to travel primarily between Hamburg and Wismar.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • EU Citizenship
