As a member of the Expert Weight & Stability Team, you will collaborate within a group that delves into ship theory issues in great detail. This coverage spans from the early design stages to the point of delivery. You will utilize software such as NAPA in your work.

Tasks
- Calculation of intact stability;
- Defining watertight compartments
- Estimating and managing weight
- Ship hull design and fine-tuning
- Addressing stability concerns
- Engaging in discussions with clients, suppliers, classification societies, and regulatory bodies
Job requirements
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in naval architecture or shipbuilding
- Multiple years of experience handling theoretical ship-related matters
- Profound familiarity with both domestic and global maritime regulations
- Comprehensive grasp of the interconnected aspects of ship design
- Proficiency in widely used design software
- Fluent proficiency in English and German for business communication
- Openness to adapt, flexible attitude, and capability to perform under demanding conditions
- Skill in organized planning and methodical work approach
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork
- EU Citizenship
