Tasks
- Perform comprehensive weight and stability analyses for our marine vessels.
- Collaborate with naval architects and classification societies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Evaluate and calculate weight distribution.
- Assess and make recommendations for stability enhancements.
- Communicate with international classification societies and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Provide expertise in certification requirements and compliance.
- Contribute to the design and construction phases of our vessels to optimize safety and stability.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to weight and safety analyses.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in ship safety, weight analysis, and stability assessments.
- Fluent in German, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in ship classification standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of ship design software, including NAPA or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
