Material Planner

In your role of Material Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain team, and you will order, allocate, monitor and ensure that the material is available within schedule and customer's deliverables. In addition, you identify potential risks and mitigate purchasing downtime. 

As Material Planner you will:

• Ensure material availability for turn key projects
• Input new item master data
• Handle the ERP system management
• Review MRP and convert them into purchase requisitions and work orders
• Review and resolve possible conflicts
• Liase with PM and project planner, as well as Procurement (on subcontract requirements)
• Ensure the material quantities are available and in line with due dates 
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the ERP system
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Act as leader for all MPR related matters

As Material Planner, you need to have:

• Relevant degree (such as supply chain management, manufacturing, or similar discipline)
• At least 4 years of previous work experience
• MRP planning experience with complex products, multi-layer BOMs and high individual part count (1000s)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (schedule, purchase, inventory control)
• Knowledge of MRP principles and Material Control Planning
• Experience on how to improve business processes and understanding of business needs
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Excellent English skills
