We are looking for a Project Manager for our construction facility Mercury Yacht Construction BV.

What will your challenge be?

In this role you have the following duties and responsibilities:

• You are a member  of the management team and you contribute  to the strategic policy of the company.
• You contribute to innovation, development and continuous improvement of products and processes, the development of quality standards and working methods and the deployment of all relevant expertise (internal and external). 
• You develop a detailed planning and delivery schedule for construction materials and resources in close collaboration with Manager Engineering, Manager Production, Production Leader Subcontracting and relevant third parties.
• You advise Engineering and Production with regard to work delineation, specifically in the technical knowledge / craftsmanship about the phase of the project.
• You monitor the overall project schedule and set daily project priorities based on the schedule. 
• You monitor the execution of all construction project related activities (internal and external), act and intervene, if necessary at the highest level.
• You ensure continuous coordination with Manager Production and Manager Engineering and ensure that all expertise involved is used (both internal and external). L Solve planning and progress problems and, if necessary, adjust the (daily) planning of various third parties and technical disciplines to ensure efficiency and progress.
• You maximize the profit of the construction project by overseeing all integral facets of the project.
• You actively take up opportunities that arise, proactively mitigate risks that could jeopardize a correct and timely delivery of the project.
• You are responsible for the daily management of the project team, consisting of internal and external (co-makers and subcontractors) parties. Helps to ensure the optimal deployment of people, materials and resources, where necessary in consultation with Manager Production and/or Engineering.
• You help ensure that procedures, guidelines, national and international rules and regulations, standards, safety, quality and environmental guidelines are observed.
• You initiate meetings mainly to monitor, discuss and evaluate the progress of the project.

What do we ask?

• HBO or WO diploma (technical business administration or similar)
• Relevant experience with ship and/or superyacht construction or the will to develop in it.
• You recognize yourself in the following competencies: accuracy, result orientation, helicopter view, organizational commitment, and decisiveness.
• You are proactive and have sufficient problem-solving skills.
