Quality Control Supervisor

Safety, Health, Environment & QualityWe are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor in the production (operational) environment for a major yacht building company. Practical, hands-on mentality and similar experience required, as well as good knowledge of all aspects of the construction phase of building a hull for a yacht.
Only candidates with fluency in Dutch will be considered.

Aufgaben
- Continuously oversee the quality levels of the various production departments: Workshop, Assembly, Outfit and Welding, in order to achieve and maintain quality standards and working methods;
- Carry out pre-inspections, monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with quality standards and working methods;
- Initiate and implement corrective actions where and when necessary;
- First point of contact for co-makers and subcontractors regarding quality issues during project realization;
- Solve upcoming (complex) quality problems independently;
- Inspect (technical execution and completeness of scope) and accept (parts of) work delivered by co-makers and/or subcontractors at home and abroad, working closely with the Production leader Subcontracting;
- Take corrective measures in case of rejection and supervise the follow-up;
- Advise on possible product or process improvements;
- Build, develop, and maintain an external and internal network to access all relevant technical information and developments;
- Ensure enforcement and implementation of standards, processes, and procedures, and focus on continuous improvement of product and processes;
- Contribute to developing and motivating the employees regarding quality and the overall construction process.
Anforderungen
- MBO or HBO degree;
- Relevant experience with ship and/ or superyacht construction;
- Accuracy, result-orientation, quality-orientation, persuasiveness;
- Proactive and problem-solving oriented;
- Fluency in Dutch.
