We're seeking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to be part of our client's Dry Dock Operations team. Based in the buzzling city of Hamburg  with occasional international offshore travels, you will be executing repair / maintenance / upgrades to the cruise vessels during dry dock season.

Aufgaben

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Your primary responsibility will be to support and lead occupational health and safety activities, ensuring the well-being of our team during Dry Dock operations.
  •  Planning Expertise: Assist in the meticulous planning and execution of Dry Dock projects, including side and flow chart planning. You'll also be involved in generating reports, statistics, and analyzing yard processes.
  • Financial Stewardship: Contribute to the management of Dry Dock budgets, helping us make cost-effective decisions that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • OHS Standards: Play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining occupational health and safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: As a vital part of our yard team, you'll actively participate in leading OHS processes throughout the Dry Dock execution.

Anforderungen

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marine engineering, shipbuilding, or ship operation is essential. A Master’s degree will be a valuable asset.
  • You should have at least 3+ years of professional experience in ship handling or the shipyard business. Training in occupational health and safety is a must, demonstrating your commitment to safety.
  •  A very good command of the English language is required to effectively communicate and collaborate in our international work environment. German proficiency is an absolute plus! 
  • Exposure to cruise vessels is high preference
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office will empower you to excel in this role.
