Offshore EngineeringAs an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in generator set design, you're a valued asset. In this role, you play a vital part in designing specialized power solutions for reliable gensets in the offshore, marine, and utility sectors.
You'll join a Dutch family-owned enterprise specializing in custom power solutions, known for its strong commitment to reliability and tailored solutions. A team of engineers who collaborates closely with clients to meet specific technical requirements and prioritize client satisfaction. Aufgaben
- Develop the mechanical functionality of gensets, select components for generators and motors, and create 3D designs to ensure performance & quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with marine and offshore industry regulations, adhering to safety and guidelines to meet the reliability and durability of generator set components;
- Manage tasks independently and excel as a team player by collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and team members to successfully complete projects;
- Utilize Solid Edge for designing precise 3D models and drawings.
Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on generator sets and motors;
- Proficient in CAD software, pref. Solid Edge;
- Strong understanding applicable industry standards (offshore, utility, industry etc.);
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities while maintaining a self-motivated and professional approach.
No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role. EU nationality of candidates with existing rights to work in The Netherlands is a mandatory requirement for this position.
