For a renown yacht builder in the Netherlands I am looking for a Product Engineer Mechanical with at lest 3 years of experience in yacht building industry. As a Product Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in an international team responsible for detailed engineering of mechanical systems such as piping, HVAC, propulsion systems etc a #yacht in cooperation with other the production department. You will take care of the last step of the engineering phase and cooperate with the production department in order to ensure a smooth respecting the high standards of the shipyard.

Aufgaben

  •  Creating production drawings of piping systems

  • 3D Spool Creation 

  • 3D interdisciplinary checks 

  • 3D Detail engineering of mechanical systems according to Royal van Lent standard.

  • Act as the link between engineering and production of assigned project(s),

  • Ensuring smooth transition of project from engineering phase to production phase,

  • Provision of technical support to engineering and production.

Anforderungen

  • BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subjetc
  • At least 3 years of experience in modelling mechanical systems such as: piping, HVAC, cable routing etc..
  • Experience in performing P&ID drawings and creation of piping and machinery layouts
  • Deep knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D (Siemens NX is a nice to have)
  • Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus
