Aufgaben

Profile:
• Technical interest and can work independently and is an independent/fast learner even with new topics.
• Organized and with a healthy economical mindset.
• Outgoing and not afraid to ask questions
• Electrotechnical Studies preferred, but not necessarily Electrical Engineer. A background in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or Industrial Engineering is also an option.
• Experience with installations of Mega Yachts (can come from the following companies: Idea Works , Icon Connects. Companies which work with One XP. Fedship, Oceanco, Home & Marine).
Companies who provide installations in media technology, IT and Security within building construction for ex in the Hotel sector, Hospital, amusement parks etc.
Team: 9 FTE’s so far, Goal = 11 FTE’s
Additional Info’s: Limited travel (approx. 3 days per year) If only for factory acceptance at manufacturers. Visit trade shows, but very limited.
Project cycle times are long. (3-4 years)
Because the client is busy on 7 projects simultaneously, the candidate needs to be able to jump from project to project quickly and easily. Works on tasks in all projects.
The group is led by the coordinator who reports to Frank Schröder (who only intervenes in extreme cases).
The team is young (mostly under 40y), more experienced candidates are still welcome.
Tasks:
System integration (from purchasing of the system to all the steps of the actual integration), starting from the customer’s request (which sometimes can be vague). The ideal candidate is able to start from a concept and work together with the coordinator and the customer. The goal is to reach together new agreements and work towards their achievement and implementation.
No drawings, many of the activities are related to management (project and interface management).

Language:
Very good business English and German required. Basic/Intermediate German could be okay if the candidate is willing to integrate and learn.
Remote work policy YES/NO:
Job is in the office (Bremen). They do not really offer remote working yet and there is no rule for it at the moment.
Salary: 60-70k p/y (but there is no bonus).
Development opportunities/training:
LTP program (Lürssen Talent Program). Promote employees to overall project manager, group manager or division manager Development opportunity does not take effect from the first day.
Program and software training;
Training package (HR);
Training in the team on the job. Duration approx. 3 months.
