As Expediteur you are in charge for facilitating the flow of materials between work sites and departments and you are the point of contact for all parties. Together with vendors, you will secure goods and coordinate deliveries while also maintaining KPI’s from clients on the delivery dates. As Expeditor you will:• Monitor, expedite and report supplier’s performances.• Together with your team, you are the point of contact for logistic, transport and/or customs related issues.• Ensure the alignment between planning, engineering, procurement and suppliers regarding delivery times.• Start mitigating actions in case of overrun of delivery times. • Report findings to stakeholders and prepare reports.• Take care of all the formalities for the shipment of goods, handle various shipping documents and customs formalities. You will also request and hire transport.• Handle various declarations for customs, Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Chamber of Commerce, and export licenses.• Report to the Project Manager Procurement Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of work experience in a technical, logistic or production environment.• Knowledge of planning methods, logistic processes, and transport planning.• Previous experience with shipment of goods and shipping documents.• Team-player attitude combined with strong negotiation skills.• Able to work independently, well-structured and with a hands-on mentality. • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is preferred.• EU citizenship or valid EU work Visa Working Conditions: Depending on your professional and personal situation, the Expeditor will receive an appropriate package of employment conditions.
