Aufgaben

  • Calculating, checking and adjusting shipbuilding structures;
  • Planning, executing and/or supervising daily activities on a project basis;
  • Attending technical meetings;
  • Supervising and coaching your colleagues in the FEM knowledge centre;
  • Assisting in the development and testing of tools and methodologies;
  • Setting out and supervising external FEM work (scope, planning, quotation and evaluation).

Anforderungen

  • Relevant education in a related discipline combined with at least 4 years of relevant work experience as a FEM / Structural Engineer, 
  • Knowledge of ship constructions is a must,
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD software (NX, Inventor, Solidworks);
  • Excellent knowledge of FEM for static and dynamic analyses;
  • Experience with commercial packages (Ansys, NASTRAN, Femap, RFEM);
  • Excellent English language skills, and basic level Dutch. 
  • EU Citizenship!
